As a part of the Virtual Global University (VGU), VIBE Internships has committed itself to supporting talented students. More and more jobs are increasingly offered in the IT sector. India has become one of the most significant IT locations in the world besides Europe and US. More so in the recent years, the subcontinent has become the so called world’s back office. Thanks to effective information and communication technology, Indian companies can compete successfully worldwide. They operate across countries and continents using global knowledge networks and efficient models for cooperation and value performance (Global Delivery Models). Nowadays nearly all sectors and industries use offshore services and cooperate with Indian service providers.
In order to take an active role in this globalisation process, VIBE Internships has committed itself to helping skilled and highly motivated students find appropriate internships in high-tech companies in India. The practical experience gained by our interns in India is an invaluable advantage to their future professional careers. They learn not only about Indian companies and their way of doing business, but also about Indian culture and mentality. In this way they develop intercultural competence.

Our Mission

VIBE Internships is an innovative organization, full of fresh ideas for the future. Our goal is to take an active role in the internalization of the working world. We are developing long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with leading high-tech companies based in India, and also with multinational companies that have Indian subsidiaries. Our aim is to provide motivated students with valuable internship experience in order to increase their chances on the world’s labor market. We match the students' profiles and expectations with the companies' needs and expectations in order to create the maximal value for both sides. Through the international experience gained in India, graduates obtain a significant competitive advantage for their future professional career.

Team

VIBE Internships was established to give students a chance to gain valuable practical business experience abroad. The creative director and the main initiator of this programme is Prof. Dr. Karl Kurbel of the European University Viadrina, supported by Mr. Peter Schumacher from the Value Leadership Group. Both of them have long lasting relationships and experience with Indian companies.

In order to match student expectation and wishes concerning internships in India, the project was created in cooperation with the students of the European University Viadrina.
